From the Conwell Inn to the conference venue:

Walk one block northeast to Boyer (as above).

Parking

If you are not staying at the Conwell Inn (which has its own parking), the best place to park is in the Liacouras Center garage ($14 per day). However, street parking will likely be more available during the conference since Temple will still be on spring break, if you want to chance it. Conference Venues and Campus Map

The conference will be held in Presser Hall, Room 140 (Friday and Saturday) and Tuttleman Learning Center, Room 107 (Saturday morning) at the Boyer College of Music and Dance, Temple University. Here is the link to directions for the Boyer College: http://www.temple.edu/boyer/about/directions.asp.

Once you arrive at the Boyer College, use the main entrance on Norris St., between 12th St. and 13th St., shared with the Tyler School of Art. Turn left in the foyer (follow MTSMA signs) to go into Presser Hall. You will pass the Artist’s Palate, where coffee breaks will be held. Registration will be at the main desk in Presser Hall (continue straight ahead, with a slight jog to the left, and you’ll see it).

Local Dining Options

Friday Breakfast/Lunch:

If you arrive early on Friday and are looking for good coffee or breakfast options near the conference venue, there is a Starbuck’s in the TECH Center at 12th St. and Montgomery Avenue and a Saxby’s on Liacouras Walk (1930 Liacouras Walk).

If you are hoping to grab a quick (and early!) lunch before the first session on Friday, your best bets are Master Wok, Subway, or Maxi’s (pizza), all on Liacouras Walk (1930 Liacouras Walk). Two blocks further (Broad St. and Cecil B. Moore Avenue) you will find The Draught Horse (pub), Qdoba (Mexican), Jimmy John’s (sandwiches), and a number of other restaurants, many of which are listed here:
